Hey everyone! My name is Matt and this is my first years attempt at bee keeping. As an avid gardner and outdoorsman, my dream has always been to own some property and practice self sufficiency through horticulture and hunting with my wife and kids. We started that dream in 2022 and the first thing we planted were blueberry and blackberry bushes. Looking for ways to better our success, we started reading about the benefit of honey bees and we were hooked right away.

Wanting to stay local and support local business, we called a few places and we were put in touch with Dan at Everett's Bees and are so glad we were. The idea of growing future bee keepers and helping others grow was exactly what we were looking for and Dan wasted no time letting us know thay was their mission.

We received our nucs last Sunday and Dan has been great from day one. From answering questions and phone calls, to reaching out to check on the status of our bees, he has given us the confidence and reassurance to take on this hobby full force. Let's be honest, this is a very intimidating but rewarding venture but feel certain we will be able to tackle any issues that arise through trial and error and hopefully some knowledgeable conversations with this community. We look forward to documenting our experience here as well as meeting some of you and the exciting discussions that we are sure to have a long the way. Thanks for having me!
